A Wall Street firm recently joined more than a third of all U.S.
companies who are investigating new systems to process their payrolls.
Their challenge was to take advantage of payroll outsourcing while
accommodating a complex set of business rules not addressed by providers
of outsourced systems. SynCo developed for this firm an easy-to-use
application that now interfaces with a variety of internal and external
sources and data formats. The new application, which interfaces
with more than 50 different internal sources providing employee
earnings and deduction information, is a Windows-based, client-server
system that allows the payroll department to benefit from a fully
integrated system while controlling and managing the accuracy of
