A leading, New York City based investment and brokerage company
needed to pay thousands of employees in dozens of countries. Varying
currencies and several different types of earnings and deductions
systems added to the complexity of the challenge. SynCo developed
a PC-based system that manages all payrolls for the company's international
employees, incorporating easy to use tables that calculate currency
values and pay types. The system interfaces with the main payroll
system to eliminate data redundancy. In addition, the new system
creates compensation breakdowns for year-end analysis and maintains
historical data on more than 1,000 employees worldwide.
