SynCo recently developed an incentive compensation
Web portal that is designed to accommodate many varied elections
related to payroll, executive compensation and stock option exercises
for thousands of employees. The new process replaces earlier voice
recognition systems (VRUs), enhancing process ease of use, quick
entry and instant return of data. Features of the Web portal product
include: user verification and password protection with various
security levels; account balance and funds availability verification;
display of data and election forms specific to individual qualifications;
integration with back-end processing systems; electronic transmission
of election forms; data sensitive to timing of election periods;
automatic generation of "tickler" reminders to undecided employees;
and audit trails of all query, input and modifications.
